State pension a ticking time bomb as 1.6million renters face bills crisis



NEARLY two million people aged between 50 and 65 who live in rented accommodation fear a housing and cash crisis as they grow older. More than half of UK tenants in the age group will have just the state pension of £8,750 to pay bills, according to a study.
