Ofsted to launch surprise inspections to drive school standards in Tory plan

Surprise school inspections will be introduced under Boris Johnson to drive up standards in schools. Watchdog Ofsted will be given more powers and money to boost discipline in the classroom, the Prime Minister has pledged.
