Firework displays: Private Bonfire Nights in Scotland close to ban

SCOTS could be banned from launching fireworks in their own gardens under a new safety crackdown. The Scottish Government is investigating ways to reduce the “fear, alarm and damage” caused by rockets and other pyrotechnics.
