Fracking banned after earthquake warning: Campaigners celebrate ‘win for countryside’

FRACKING was banned by the Government last night after a report warned of dangers that the process can trigger earthquakes. Ministers announced the controversial procedure for extracting shale gas will be outlawed unless future evidence can be found to show it can be carried out safely.
