Scottish fighter ace Archie McKellar profiled in Glasgow Kelvingrove exhibition
A NEW exhibition reveals the exploits of a Scottish fighter ace who became the first British pilot to shoot down a German aircraft over the UK in the Second World War. Squadron leader Archie McKellar’s actions have been immortalised in the Conflict and Consequences display at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Museum.
